Texting {rules of engagement} 1) Always remember that everything you say and do is documented (even if you delete it from your phone). 2) Only text what you would be willing to say in person. 3) Never text during a meal with someone else. 4) Do not text during school. 5) Refrain from talking about other people while texting. 6) Do not text while doing homework, riding a bike, driving, or anything else that requires a lot of concentration. 7) Do not text while in a carpool. Instead be available to make conversation. 8) Do not ask someone out or break up with someone by texting. 9) Be polite to the people you are texting, especially Mom and Dad (they pay the bill). 10) Plug your phone into the charger at 9:00pm…no more texting today.
