Buckhead Community Improvement DistrictWhat is a CID?A community improvement district (CID) isa taxation entity of local government inwhich commercial properties in a definedarea pay an additional 3 mils property taxin order to fund improvements within thedistricts boundaries.These funds are used for planningengineering, and designing transportationsolutions and to leverage federal and statetransportation dollars with CID dollars toimplement those solutions.
