Signature Project 1 – Dahl Dam and Irrigation System <ul><li>Why is this an important project for the people of Afghanistan? </li></ul><ul><li>This is important to the Afghani people because this irrigation system will enable the majority of Kandahar resident access to safe agricultural water, create numerous seasonal jobs and augment agricultural output. </li></ul><ul><li>What is Canada doing to help? Education on transmission and proper treatment are severely lacking as well as prevention.
