Nursing ePortfolios

LOGGING IN
1. Log in to your ePortfolio account through the following website: http://cunyonline.digication.com
2. You will be prompted to enter your username and password, then click ‘Log In.’ (If you’re new to ePortfolios,
you will need to accept the terms and conditions.) Once you log in, please update your password by clicking
on your name in the upper-right side of the screen.
CREATING YOUR NURSING ePORTFOLIO
*NOTE: You only need to create ONE ePortfolio for the Nursing program. If you have already created one,
please work off of that and make sure your cohort is listed under “Additional Permissions.”
1. After logging into Digication, scroll down to Assessment Groups and click on your Cohort.
2. Click on the e-Portfolios tab.

3. Find the Nursing Program template and click on the Create e-Portfolio From Template >> button.
4. Use your name as the title of your ePortfolio.
5. Skip the “Choose a Theme” section and make sure you don’t uncheck the box next to “Use selected template’s
theme.” You can go back to your ePortfolio Settings to customize the directory icon, header image, and custom
CSS, and footer of your ePortfolio once it’s been created.

6. Select the permissions for your ePortfolio and do not remove your course from additional permissions (this will
allow everyone in your course including your instructor to see your ePortfolio. It will appear in the e-Portfolios tab
of your course). If you wish to share your ePortfolio with the SPS community, click “Private within CUNY
School of Professional Studies.”
7. Choose whether you want to allow others to tag pages within your ePortfolio.
Once your ePortfolio has been
created, you will be taken to
your new ePortfolio!
8. Set the comments settings to allow comments from
Registered Users and Do not show comments until
after they have been approved.
9. Click the Create New e-Portfolio button to create
your ePortfolio.
