  2. 2. Introduction <ul><li>My name is Terricios Carr and I work for a Fleet Management Leasing Company. In my current role I work as a Quality Assurance Analyst and will be transitioning into a Organizational Development Trainer role as of January 2009. </li></ul><ul><li>I am presenting on the topic Mentoring. This is a new concept for my organization that we adopted over a year ago. This program is very beneficial in both my personal and professional growth as a new trainer. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>Mentoring is a personal enhancement strategy through which one person facilitates the development of another by sharing known resources, expertise, values, skills, perspectives, attitudes, and proficiencies. </li></ul>

Reflection/Discussion <ul><li>I learned a lot about mentoring and the benefits associated with mentoring. </li></ul><ul><li>To make this paper more effective I probably should have provided more metrics or case studies on the effectiveness of the program. </li></ul><ul><li>The research has allowed me to dig more to find substantial information related to the topic. </li></ul>

Future Directions/Questions <ul><li>I will apply the information I learned from the research to my own mentoring relationship. </li></ul><ul><li>The aspects from my research that I found to be most meaningful is the benefits of mentoring and also the impact of baby boomers mentoring the younger generation. </li></ul>
