So we always see commercials to “help the
children” and while we want to help sometimes
we wonder if our money is actually making a
difference. Style that child is a real app with
profiles of real children who need clothes. Each
user chooses one child or more and then puts
together an outfit or outfit(s) on the app for the
child. The child can be a child from another
country with a profile but you can also help
children in your own community. You can search
your local school district and instead of a full
profile it will just have sizes of children in need
provided by the school. Only children from
different countries will have photos and names.
You pick the clothes then purchase and ship them
through the app.

3. WHY STYLE THAT CHILD?
“Thousands of children in Africa do not have access
to proper clothing and shoes to help keep their bodies
and feet protected. Toxins, bacteria and viruses are
more easily spread without proper clothing, and
children who are forced to walk barefoot suffer from

foot injuries and infections”- Alexander Abbott,

Our motto and one of the things that will be on your screen when you first open up the app is Safety,
Survival, and Success. Our first reason for helping children get clothes is to keep them safe and help
them survive but not only do we want them to survive we hope that giving them clothes will make
them successful and able to go to school. Users have the option to donate in their communities or in
other countries but one thing is for sure it will be going to a country in need.

Partnered with Amazon !
To achieve this goal we plan to work with school
districts and charity organizations to discover who is
actually in need. It’s important to work with charities
both in the U.S. and some that have chapters in other
countries
Some organizations we would like to work with:
K.I..D.S.
The Giving Effect
Planet Aid
Red Cross
Big Brothers Big Sisters (why we want to work
with big brothers big sisters)

6. WHO TO PRESENT OUR APP TO?
We’d have to pitch the idea to all the
charitable companies we’d like involved and the
board of education for each state
This app would be marketed towards women
in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who love fashion
We’d like to advertise in Harper’s Bazaar and
Marie Claire
