As owner of Miami, Florida’s famed theme park, Santa’s Enchanted Forest, Brian Shechtman plays an active role in the surrounding community, donating his time, energy, and resources to a wide variety of worthwhile endeavors. Among these, Brian Shechtman spent five years as volunteer football coach to the sixth-grade football squad of the University School of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, during which time he led them to a historic Tri-County Championship win in 2010.

Introduction  As owner of Miami, Florida’s famed theme park, Santa’s Enchanted Forest, Brian Shechtman plays an active role in the surrounding community, donating his time, energy, and resources to a wide variety of worthwhile endeavors. Among these, Brian Shechtman spent five years as volunteer football coach to the sixth-grade football squad of the University School of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, during which time he led them to a historic Tri-County Championship win in 2010.

About the Team  Based on the grounds of Nova Southeastern University, the private University School educates children from the pre-K level to 12th grade, offing the full spectrum of academic and extracurricular opportunities along the way. An athletic powerhouse, as well, University School has amassed a string of key accomplishments over the years, and the Suns continue to succeed in highly competitive middle school and high school divisions. In its blowout Tri- County Championship victory on October 26, 2010, the sixth-grade Suns football team defeated the American Heritage School Stallions by 46 to 6.
