Our
brand

will
have
EMGE
in
the
shape
of
leaf

help
provide

“green”

for
our
clients
to
remember.
The
story
behind
EMGE’s
name
is
simple,
it
is
mine
and
my
business
partners
last
name
and
our
services.
Using
our
last
names
helps
with
trademarking
the
name
and
will
help
with
setting
us
apart
from
our
competitors.
Also
using
our
last
name
does
not
give
our
last
name
any
speciFic,
gender,
race,
or
ethnicity,
so
those
looking
at
our
company
can
make
a
decision
to
use
our
services
based
on
our
presentation
not
preconceived
ideas.
One
of
our
strengths
is
again
our
customers
will
not
only
remember
our
services
through
our
name
but
they
will
remember
our
company
logo.
Our
logo
is
unique
and
symbolizes
our
unique
services.
Another
strength
of
our
name
is
the
how
it
is
pronounced
which
helps
clients
think
of
us
when
it
comes
to
a
“green”

we
will
work
with
a

environmental
agencies
that
is
having
an
event
to
bring
awareness
to
say,
“lessening
our
carbon
footprint”.
We
will
bring
in
people
from
the
entertainment
industry
to
speak
or
perform
at
the
event,
which
will
draw
the
attention
of
the
youth
and
get
them
attending
the
event
and
then
become
educated
while
being
entertained.

of
our
competitors
are
speciFically
focusing
on
educating
the
youth
through
the
entertainment
industry.

Is EMGE protected underUSPTO.gov?According to Hoosear and Evans a good name and one that is protectable “isunique, pleasing to the eye and ear, easy to remember, evocative of the product orservice provided by the company and favorably perceived by consumers”.Our brand name meets theses requirements but is more of a suggestive ordescriptive type brand name. The suggestive name could be protected but not asprotected as other types, and the descriptive is not registrable with the USPTO.Our name is a protected a small amount but because it possibly can not beregistered this does give the name less protection.

Interactive
Entertainment
is
an
example
of
a
competitors
logo
that
could
be
compared
to
ours.WB’s
logo
is
strong
because
now
when
you
hear
WB
you
automatically
think
of
and
associate
that
with
Warner
Bros.
The
logo
is
easy
to
remember
and
stand
out.
If
you
were
to
take
the
word
from
the
logo
and
just
the
use
the
logo
symbol
people
would
recognize
the
symbol
to
be
Warner
Bros.

Paul Frank One of my favorite brand logosPaul Frank a clothing line has apicture of a monkey for the brandlogo.The logo would be categorized asarbitrary because you would notnormally think of monkey’s face whenthinking about a clothing line.The logo has done its job, becausenow when you see this monkey faceyou automatically think Paul Frank.
