The JOBS Act was signed into law by President
Obama in the Spring of 2012.
It removes regulatory hurdles for small businesses
and allow companies to raise capital from private
investors and in public markets.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
was asked to draft the specific guidelines.
