RTPT-Real Time Process Tracking System For Manufacturing Environment Specific to Tyre Industry NAME: NEERAJ SRIVASTAVA TITLE: COMPANY: Manufacturing Execution Systems basically fill the gap between an ERP and machines on the floor. The keyword in a system like MITS is "Execution". An ERP system could do all the planning but if it is not executed properly on the floor, it is of no use. It is here that a system like MITS comes into the picture.

Recording Production Activity at the work cells – Tag printing with barcodes on Mixing, Calendar, Extrusion, Stock Prep, Beads and Slitting machines. – Real time WIP inventory tracking – Production Counts for PLC enabled machines. – Machine set-up, running and downtime, along with downtime reason codes – Components scrapped, along with scrap reason code assignment – Recipe verification and validation – Generation of payroll data for hourly employees at the end of every shift.
