ABC Expansion Increase the number of ABC’s while assisting ABC leaders in the development and scheduling of content. Methods and Practices Curriculum Development Develop, license or form alliances with members or others who have authored books, instructional presentations and or materials in areas related to consulting methods, approaches or analytic tools. Present to our members via Chapter Meetings, ABC’s or planned work sessions and online platforms (E- Learning & E-Commerce). Membership Development Develop membership outreach programs and orientation processes to increase membership and match new members to Chapter activities appropriate to their goals. Outreach to Larger Consulting Firms Target and present the value of IMC membership and CMC designation to the top tier firms in our marketing area. Sponsorship Development Refine, finalize and implement a sponsorship program.

The CMC qualification is relevant for all practicing consultants to management, including those in large and medium-sized firms, niche firms, internal consultants, networked groups, and independent consultants, and will continue to remain a core offering of the Institute of Management Consultant USA. It defines the quot;fully competent consultantquot; and broadly speaking, is targeted at those who: Have a minimum of 3 years experience as a consultant, with progressive responsibility for securing and managing consulting engagements; Have at least a Bachelor's Degree or two additional years consulting experience with documented professional development; Are experienced in all elements of the consulting life cycle; Can take full ownership for delivery of a project or a major work stream; Have experience in managing others; Have demonstrated their contribution is highly valued by clients.

A qualified consultant who is an IMC USA Professional Member in good standing must complete the following four steps to be certified: Submit a certification application to IMC USA, including written case studies of at least three engagements. Provide evaluations of your prior work from five different clients, sent electronically. IMC USA may verify information with the client as needed. Take online Ethics and Consulting Competency examinations. Sit for a panel interview with senior consultants. It includes a review of your consulting experience, an oral ethics exam, an assessment of your knowledge of the consulting competency framework and body of knowledge, and your ability to work through typical consulting engagement issues.
