Present Research <ul><li>Working for a paper, “Heat Waves or Meteor Showers: an Empirical Study of Indian stock Markets” accepted for international conference of 6th AFE Conference: 02-04 July 2009, Samos Island Greece. </li></ul><ul><li>Heat waves defines shocks from its own spot (futures) past values, whereas Meteor Showers defines impact of spot (futures) on Futures (spot) market past values </li></ul><ul><li>Volatility spillovers between spot and futures markets by using high frequency data i.e., tick by tick data </li></ul><ul><li>By Using MGARCH (1,1) we found that in Indian stock markets i.e., spot and futures markets having both Heat Waves and Meteor Showers. </li></ul>
