โปรแกรม Audacity เปนโปรแกรมชวยบันทึกเสียง ปรับแตงเสียง และแปลงฟอรแมตไฟลเสียงไดหลากหลาย
ฟอรแมต รวมทั้งรองรับระบบปฏิบัติการไดหลายระบบเชนกัน
เรียกใชงานโปรแกรม
โปรแกม Audacity เมื่อติดตั้งแลวจะปรากฏเมนูคําสั่ง Start, Program, Audacity หรือจะดับเบิลคลิกที่
ไอคอนโปรแกรม Audacity บน Desktop เพื่อเรียกใชงานโปรแกรมก็ได เมื่อเรียกใชงานโปรแกรม จะปรากฏ
จอภาพทํางานดังนี้
แปลง Digital Sound
ไฟลเสียงดิจิทัลฟอรแมต Wave, MP3, AIFF, AU สามารถนํามาแปลงสลับฟอรแมตกันไดงาย โดยเปด
ไฟลดวยคําสั่ง File, Open… จากนั้นเลือกคําสั่ง File, Export As Wave หรือ File, Export as MP3
บันทึกบางสวนของเสียง
การตัดและบันทึกเฉพาะบางสวนของไฟลเสียง ก็เปนอีกฟงกชันหนึ่งของโปรแกรม โดยผูใชสามารถ
เลือกเฉพาะสวนที่ตองการดวยเครื่องมือ Selection แลวคลิกปุม Trim outside selection โปรแกรมจะตัด
สวนที่เหลือทิ้งไป
