Tools include version control systems, IRC, mailing lists, wikis, blogs to help developers working on building code together. CommunitySharing ideas and developing code across the Internet with developers all over the globe forms the community for most open source projects.

  • Those are the main concerns of the Women and Mozilla initiative of Mozilla, one of the projects of open web advocates to empower women in the field of free and open source technologies.
