Cartridge heater : the standard termination for Hi-Density Catridge Heater is consisting
of 10”(254mm) externally connected leads to 1 1/24”(32mm) solid nickel connectors. The
leads are stranded nickel wire with high temperature fiberglass/Teflon tape insulation. UL
approved for 300 Volt or 600 Volt service, rated at a continuous operating temperature of 14
482 (250 ). To meet the requirements of your application we offer over 40 standard
termination styles to select from that will solve many of the most common application 15
problems.
Tubular heaters : for heating almost any liquid or vicious materials including acids,
water, synesthetic oils, lube oils as well as air, gases, steam or low melting solids. The
standard element consists of an 80/20 nickel chrome resistance wire which is connected to
terminal pins, and centred in a metal tube. The tube is filled with high quality magnesium
oxide and compressed to ensure a rapid heat transfer. The terminal pins from a non-heated
section of the element well as the terminal arrangement. They are insulated from the tube by
ceramic bushes. Kilowatt rating and voltage can be varied to suit each application.
Flange Immersion Heater can be designed with any element length, wattage, and
voltage. High purity compacted MgO powder provides maximum heat conductivity and
optimum dielectric strength. Bends are recompacked to restore MgO density.
Thermocouples can be installed for high limit temperature control. Spacers installed on
elements to assist flow distribution.
