  • 1. Negotiaton power decides who pays who
    2. In the experience economy one pays for the experience, no longer the product. Experience can be a nice view (and cheap water) or believe that you will cure (by drinking cheap water)
    3. Qirky will have to grow/scale with the number of projects they take on board, while Instagram's team is independent of the number of apps downloaded
    4. Revenue vs profit. Revenue of unprepared wood will most probably bebigger, but profit of wooden logs will be better.
    5. What is convenience: cheaper, faster, labour intensive, ...?
    6. The price of the virtual ring is value based (e.g. exclusive so high priced). The price of the cat ears ring is cost-based as (real) gold is being used.
    7. In the Tupperware value chain also the host of the evening will get a commission. In the Mancave value chain there is one party less, who gets money. Fun is a relative term, I guess in general men will have more fun at ManCave and women at Tupperware parties.

  • I have never twittered or promoted a recruitment ad before but I tweeted this one - purely because it really does sort the wheat from the chaff and recognises the 'thinkers' and 'innovators' but especially because it excludes the bullshitting marketeers as 'need not apply'

    Good job and great thinking
