    2. 2. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the winewould burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins wouldboth be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.
    3. 3. The portals create a visual and physical connectionbetween two different locations in 3D space. Portalends are restricted to planar surfaces, but if the portalends are on nonparallel planes, bizarre twists ingeometry and gravity can occur as the playercharacter is immediately reoriented to be upright withrespect to gravity after leaving a portal end. Animportant aspect of the games physics is "momentumredirection". Objects retain the magnitude of theirmomentum as they pass through the portals but in adirection relative to the surface the exit portal is on.This allows the player character to launch objects, oreven herself, over great distances, both vertically andhorizontally, a maneuver referred to as "flinging" byValve.[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_(video_game)—11/22/07]
    4. 4. Sims 2: Nickel and Dimed ChallengeThis challenge was inspired by, and isnamed for, the book Nickel and Dimed byBarbara Ehrenreich (which has nothingwhatsoever to do with Sims, but isnevertheless highly recommended). Theidea is to mimic, as closely as possible, thelife of an unskilled single mother trying tomake ends meet for herself and her kids.
    5. 5. Dane2010, Ive thought about this same subjectmany times. Youre absolutely correct. Since thedepiction of the protein is a graphical representationof three-dimensional space, it is easy to understandthe relationship of distance to force. Since theeffects of the push/pull of one atom on another areinvisible, it is much more difficult to depict orunderstand.I wonder if Fold.it, redesigned as a Wii type gamemight allow us to push/pull and feel our way tobetter solutions?
