  2. 2. Information; <br />UrieBronfenbrenner, born April 29, 1917.<br />He was a Russian American Psychologist. <br />He was creator of ecological system theory’s.<br />He parents were Russian Jews.<br />At age 6, his family and himself moved to USA.<br />
  3. 3. …<br />In 1938 he completed double majors in music and psychology.<br />He served in the army as a psychologist. <br />He began teaching after world war 2.<br />

Teachings;<br />UrieBronfenbrenner is generally regarded as one of the world's leading scholars to focus on the interplay between research and policy on children development.<br />-After World War II, Bronfenbrenner worked briefly as Assistant chief Clinical psychologist.<br /> he worked in Developing theory and corresponding research designs to advance developmental psychology. <br />
  5. 5. …<br />He believed that there were four major sections.<br />Microsystem- immediate environments (family,school, peer groups)<br />Mesosystem- compromised connection between environments (between home and school)<br />
  6. 6. …<br />Exosystem – indirectly effect environment ( parents workplace)<br />Macrosystem – cultural context (western vs eastern, subculture, etc.)<br />Later on, a fifth system was added, <br />chronosystem- environmental events and transitions of course over life.<br />
