This series is designed to give you the tools and knowledge needed to make an ERP transition smooth and minimize risk. Industry analyst Mint Jutras reports that 73% of surveyed companies said that “management driven change was requiring moderate to substantial ERP change”

The players Joe Jones, Controller • He can’t get the reports he needs to manage cash flow and make decisions out of his aging ERP system. • He has to deal with a lot of spreadsheets and external systems to get the info he needs. • He knows that a new system could help but doesn’t have time to do a lot of research.

Jane Smith, Operations Manager • She can’t get real-time sales and shipping information. • She is trying to introduce new products and new markets but can’t get control of operations. • The other systems she needs to run operations don’t talk to the ERP. • She doesn’t have the influence in the business to get Execs to think about a new system.
