It also reveals that the target audience’s age ranges 57% from 13 to over 25 as within each age group a person read Indie or rock magazines. 0% 0%

I got a number ofresponses that ranged from devote fans of Indie whowould be “interested in reading more about myfavourite artists” to newcomers to Indie who “want todiscover new bands” and “learn more about the genre”.

Question 2 What types of articles do you prefer reading?An even mix of all the above All 11% This clearly shows that the main types 0% Other of articles that my target audience News 0% 21% want are reviews and features.Gossip However there is a mix of results which 5% also implies that they would like a range of articles so the main types I will use are features and reviews but I’ll Features also put in news and some gossip so as 26% not to alienate potential customers. Question 4 This indicates that most people want the minimalist style of Q Kerrang which has a very unclutteredNME 20% front cover with one strong image40% as well as the slightly more chaotic visual style of NME which Q also tends to have one or two 40% strong images but more text so I’ll aim to create a more minimalist cover with some aspects of chaos to appeal to my target audience.

Also the front 15% 0% cover image is crucial in 0% engaging the reader in the 50% first place as well as 30% information that applies to the reader.
