  2. 2. Mission of “School programme” p roject <ul><li>“ Školski program ” currently exists as a facebook fan page and , as of recently, a web site, or blog. The idea of this project is to inspire someone to establish a TV channel with identical contents and purpose – elemenary school children educational programme 24 hours a day, 7 days a week . </li></ul>

  4. 4. Example of user interaction: Sveti Sava, a school Saint in Serbia - photo album of children paintings Some of the works presented in the album “Sveti Sava” came from the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  5. 5. Example of user interaction: photo album “Spring” Some of the works presented in the album “Spring” came from the Federation of BH, the other entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which shows that this project knows no borders or limits. We accept everyone and everyone accepts us!

Some public figures or institutions who have supported this project <ul><li>Sava Stojkov – the famous serbian painter from Sombor with more than 70 years of painting work </li></ul><ul><li>Olivera Jevti ć – the famous serbian athlete, world class marathon runner </li></ul><ul><li>Dragoljub Djuri č i ć – the famous serbian musician / drummer who played with his orchestra with pratically all top class musicians from former Yugoslavia </li></ul><ul><li>Dara D ž oki ć – serbian actress </li></ul><ul><li>Private elementary school from Belgrade – Montessori school has recommended this project on their facebook wall: </li></ul>

Demography of the page friends and other admin data The data that is not shown here, but which the page owners have the insight into, is the professional or family structure of the page friends. Approximately 98% of all the likers are people responsible for bringing up children (parents or teachers). About 80% of all page friends are educational workers - lower grade school teachers, higher grade teachers, music, painting or foreign language teachers, sports coaches etc. Note: Facebook does not display the data for all the cities where the likers come from. Therefore, you can only see the data for some of the cities from Bosnia or Croatia, and there is no data for the Serbian cities, where the majority of the likers come from.
  8. 8. Monthly post views and like peaks Monthly post views in April 2011. Almost 66,000 views in a month! One of the biggest daily leaps in the page likers number – 60 new likes on April 5 th 2011.

More admin data – individual post views Announcement for sporting event in Novi Sad ~ 1745 views Photo album of an antiquarian russian maths book with interesting problems and solutions, 1949 serbian translation ~ at the time of this writing it has nearly 3000 views and is rapidly growing! The city of Buenos Aires ~ 2221 views Beethoven’s “Ode to joy” ~ 2035 views Spanish for children – a song, pronunciation, and translation into serbian ~ 2141 views

Final word <ul><li>I have started the entire “ Školski program” project as a parent wishing to help my own children, and not as an IT professional or as an educational worker or in any other form of professional engagement. Very often, my kids' problems at school inspired me or served as the idea for new contributions to the page. So this is their project as much as it is mine. </li></ul><ul><li>Thank you, boys. </li></ul>
