Some ideas that arose from the learning technologies conference. I have tried to keep it within the realms of what is easily achievable and can then be built upon.

Fully integrated sales offering <ul><li>Problem: client perceives us as a resource filler to create training material not a learning specialist that can consult on best practise </li></ul><ul><li>Possible solution: Non chargeable are sold as L&D consultant and PM. Engaging on this level and getting the client to help design/determine the full learning need and where the key risk areas lie (using a learning architecture style approach) will help build trust and create a differential agianst many of the competition </li></ul>

Fully integrated sales offering <ul><li>Problem: Potential clients do not buy into the importance of some of the additional tasks offered. </li></ul><ul><li>Possible solution: Offer tangible solutions for the services/consultancy, with the learning benefits of doing this for example; </li></ul><ul><ul><li>User Comms: Cost on a project basis – 5 x poster campaign to raise awareness, monthly email campaign with teasers, info etc, management of responses (queries), video link via intranet or youtube channel with demo, printing </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This needs to be presented as part of a proposal presentation to the client (inperson or via slideshare) </li></ul></ul>

We have so many skill sets available that are not shared across the business. </li></ul><ul><li>Possible solution: Build as part of a learning architecture, so it can then be included or discounted. This may be pre-learning It skills or soft skills </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Database design (access) / SQL / VB </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Office/PC skills </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Presentation skills/TTT </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Sharepoint training </li></ul></ul>
