  • Slideshare is a wonderful resource for sharing PowerPoint presentations. Presenters upload their files to the site for the benefit of others. Slideshare users can subscribe or follow specific speakers. Subscribers can view and download slide presentations as needed.
  • Social bookmarking sites contain links to websites of interest within a network of users. One of the most popular bookmarking sites is Pinterest. This site resembles a collection of bulletin boards populated with photos from various websites that are “pinned” to the board. Like other social media sites, users can subscribe, or follow, interesting boards so they are notified when the owner pins new photos.
  • YouTube is the most popular video subscription site, but there are others such as Vimeo and MetaCafe.
