Degaussed released its first EP online in August 2009, and is currently working on a new CD. Aiming for a fall release, the band is taking its time for this album. “Luckily, we don’t have to pay for studio time, so we are not pressured” to get the CD finished in a certain amount of time, LaFramboise said. The News Herald: Breaking news coverage for Southgate, MI Snapshots With the music scene constantly changing, “you should go your own way,” Tyrna said. “Fads come and go,” Beaubien said. “As far as music goes,” our common goal is to keep Degaussed together.” However, each band member has his own plans for college. LaFramboise is attending Central Michigan University and finishing a degree in recreation. He hopes to get a job at the Woodhaven or Wyandotte recreation centers. Salbert is going to Albion College in the fall to pursue a degree in the medical field.
