We highly recommend reviewing
each room in your home. Look for
clutter and remove it from the room.
Buyers are turned off by clutter
and crowded spaces so maybe
even some furniture would end
up in one of the stacks.
The price you pay for any part of
staging will be less than your first
price reduction on your home, if it
has clutter.

Think of a well-appointed hotel room.
The room is warm, inviting and often
features vignettes that evoke warmth
or relieve stress.
You feel welcome. You feel comfortable,
yet there are no personal items to make you
feel like you are imposing upon someone
elses territory.
Family portraits, awards, collections, deer
heads and other items near and dear to your
heart are distractions that keep the buyer
from focusing on your home and its potential
for them. It is best to have personal items
stored for delivery to your future home.

also the one most likely to sell. It tells the buyer
the home has been well maintained. Every area
of the home should be spotless, dust free and
the windows should sparkle!
KITCHENS:
1. Remove those magnets from the refrigerator- make it sparkle.
2. Stove – shiny and sparkly inside and out
3. Oven – clean inside and out
4. Clean the cabinets
5. Make the floors shine like new
6. Clean, de-clutter counters- only one decorative item per counter

This stage can be as simple as
rearranging or removing furniture to
allow for more open, flowing spaces.
