3. I created a simple project
with a mix of MIDI and real

4. First we want to select the tracks we
need in our monitor
Hold Shift and click to select
multiple tracks

5. Then we send our tracks to a bus
If all your tracks are selected you just
need to select bus 1 on your fir st
track and all the other tracks will
automatically get bus 1 too

6. Since we are setting monitoring mixes we
need to set the sends to pre-fader we
want to have independent mixes
Right click on a bus a
choose pre-fader

7. I can also set all ou r gains to unity by holding the
option key and clicking on one knob next to bus 1
You can see that a new track
was created. It’s our Bus 1

8. We need to pick an output for
this new mix
I have 8 outputs on my audio
interface so I chose output 3-4

9. This will create a new track
You should take the
habit to rename
your tracks

10. We can now set our levels the way we want

11. We can repeat the process to create as many mixes as
your audio interface has outputs
I created two other
monitor

12. Final project with 3 monitoring
mixes and all the gains set
