2. 1. Who will be the audience of your media product? The audience of my school magazine will probably be the parents of the children at the school, to keep them up to date with whats happening at the school and the children (mainly of secondry school ages,11-18) may read it too as it will help them know the developing plans of the school and the acchievements of the school.
3. 2. How does your media product attract/address your audience? This product attracts the target audience as it is specifically about the chosen school, therefore has a personal link to the reader. I used the same colours in the background as the schools colours and the appearance is very smart and clear.
4. 3. How does your media product represent particular social groups? My media product appeals to the adults with children of a school age, The writing is clear and simple so that it is easier to read in-amongst a hectic lifestyle. I also appealed to the children reading it by having students on the cover rather than the teachers.
5. 4. In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge form or conventions of real media products? Although this product doesn't really develop from "real" magazines, I feel it shows a different take on the idea of a "school magazine", even though it would only be a free magazine to collect at the school.
6. 5. What kind of media insitutions might distribute your media product and why? The only type of media institutions that may distribute this magazine are the magazine industry or an online version of the magazine, however it would be on an incredibly small scale through the school system.
7. 6. What have you learnt about technologies during the process of constructing this product? I have used Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-design and the internet for research for this project. I have also begun to use blogger to record my progress.
