    20. 20. 1. How to Set-up a Twitter Profile Advanced Search Use to enter your search parameters if youre not familiar the search syntax3. Hashtags Use Twitter.coms search box with popular hashtags (#) to search for specifics (e.g. #job Denver). This returns jobs in Denver that were posted on Twitter. NOTE: Popular Hashtags can be found at (See Appendix)4. Search Jobs, candidates, influencers, products using Twitter5. Follow Interesting people and companies 23
    21. 21. • Create a profile is the first step• Type up to 140 characters (A.K.A. a “Tweet”)• Make sure your “tweets” have value to those who follow you• Include a URL to link to additional related resources• Follow the 90/10 rule: 90% of your tweets are giving (adding value for those that follow you) and 10% are taking (shameless self- promotion)• Be sure to add a category preceded by a hashtag (e.g. #CWWKSocial #CO or #jobs or #Denver) so followers know that it is relevant for a specific location or topic area 24
