1. 1. EVALUATION
By Bethany Rowson
2. 2. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
Main picture shows the main article band “Acrylic Kiss”.
The masthead is fun and relates to the title “LOUD!”
“Free” always catches the audiences eye as everybody wants something for free.
I used the word “must” to show that they need to know about this information.
I used the colour scheme, purple, white and black.
“Plus” is an emotive word which attracts the audience.
The text changes from black to white
3. 3. Same writing as the masthead
I used the cover band as the main photograph.
The headers make it easier for the audience
Eye-catching
Young and fun.
4. 4. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
The social group my magazine attracts is young, pop/rock. The bands I have used also show it for a younger audience as the members of the band are young and the layout of my magazine is fun.
5. 5. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
6. 6. Who would be the audience for your media product?
How did you attract / address your audience?
7. 7. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Using Photoshop was the biggest difficulty for me as I have not used it very much in the past.
8. 8. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
