Bethany Kludt, a nursing student at Ohio
Northern University, has been actively
involved in sports for most of her life. At the
age of three she began doing gymnastics,
a sport she did through middle school. She
also began riding bikes at age 3 and racing
in BMX competitions when she was 4
years old.
When she was in high school, she picked up golf
and diving and after the first year in each was
awarded Most Improved in each sport. As is evident,
maintaining good physical health is one of her top
priorities. She is also a big proponent of sports, as
she believes playing sports can cultivate many
positive qualities within a child. One of these
qualities is learning how to cooperate with other
people to reach a common goal.
