MobileMonday China Startup Challenge 2014 What is it? – Soft skill training Program App Bite-size, interactive training for the service industry workers What problems are we solving? – MANY! Service industry workers lack skills – process, culture, language No training – low motivation, high turnover, low profit margin. Workers move from one bad job to another No good recruiting platform exists. Word-of-mouth recruiting. Almost 13 mill new workers come to work force per year without soft skills Chinese schools do not teach soft skills – difficult in the global society (McKinsey: Less than 10% of university graduates are fit to work at global companies)
  3. 3. MobileMonday China Startup Challenge 2014 Why AYS? Currently no alternative training tools available Can be trained anywhere, anytime, repeat (mobile, tablet, pc) Includes procedure, culture & language Get tested using gamified & interactive tests Employers can monitor training progress Embed a lot of incentive programs – raise, promotion, etc. Use as an on-the-job training tool (maintenance training) Train also on workers’ time Fantastic recruiting platform (never existed before)

(funding not in place?) Not able to attract good enough team members? Internet Securities not good enough? (IP protection) Build platform that cannot support our biz needs?
  7. 7. MobileMonday China Startup Challenge 2014 B2B – Corporate Customers Monthly/annual subscription fees Profiling fees – marketing, profiling, job posting Tailored program production Charges per view (candidate profile) Hiring fee- upon recruiting B2C – Individual subscribers Initially about free of charge; later, very small fees Accessment fees Academic Institutions – curriculum on soft skill training (hospitality university) International Scaling – Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, India....
