Welcome to:Techtutor 1: ICT Application for EffectiveClassroom Management.This is designed to help you integrate technology inthe learning environment by weaving it into authenticor project-based learning activities.Globe Telecoms, the Coalition for Better Educationand Department of Education are partners in providingtraining programs, such as these, that are aimed insupporting teachers’ ICT enhancement needs in thisdigital age.3

Tools that will guide you in integratingtechnology in your classroom then the rest of themodules will be given to you by the Coalition for BetterEducation trainors.4

  10. 10. b. Domain-Name of the computer or network ofcompu-ters that you are accessing, usuallyin a form of 4 part number address butmost domains are in the form of the EnglishAlphabet. Like for instance the domain ofCBE is 192.168.10.1 or www.cbeceftex.net.c. Path -List of folders in the computer down to thespecific files upload in the website.Sometimes, no path is indicated. Along thisline, we use the default file usually indicated asindex.html.3. Browser - A program that allows one to view documentsin HTML (hypertext mark-up Language)format. These documents are commonlycalled web pages.10

The search is thencompiled into one single list.Eg. Google, Yahoo, MSN Search, etcEg. Countries in Asea/Souteast Asia/Philippines/culture/religion(main categories and sub-categories)Eg. Boolean Technique - Use the words: AND, NOT, ORand NEAR.3. Pseudo Boolean Technique -This technique is often called useof “natural language” like (+)AND, (-) NOT15

The more synonyms youinclude in the search, the betterchances of prioritizing that word in thesearch.You can also prioritize by typing the word first in thebrowser. Therefore If you want to search abouteducational schools in the Philippines, you can do thisfast by typing: “Educational Schools” Philippines. Inthis term, you are directing the computer to search thephrase “educational schools” first in order of priority.16
