The Procurement Process: <ul><li>What is a PQQ? </li></ul><ul><li>Pre Qualification Questionnaire </li></ul><ul><li>Process to enable the council to select and shortlist suitable potential suppliers to be invited for tender. </li></ul><ul><li>Why do we have a PQQ? </li></ul><ul><li>To obtain sufficient information to evaluate the suitability of organisations and ensure they are capable of providing the service. </li></ul><ul><li>It is the only stage available to the authority in establishing: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Organisational and financial standing. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Experience. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Technical capability. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Resource capability. </li></ul></ul>

  7. 7. London Tenders Portal <ul><li>The London Borough of Sutton has transformed the way it procures goods, services and works. All tender opportunities are now advertised on the Council's website and through an e-tendering portal which is also used to conduct the tender process. Advertisements will also be published in the Official Journal of the European Union as required. </li></ul><ul><li>To take part in any tender exercise and/or to be able to express an interest in a contract with the London Borough of Sutton, first you must register ProContract with basic details about yourself and also the company that you work for. </li></ul><ul><li>By registering on the portal, you will receive automatic email notifications when any tenders are advertised for the categories you have registered your company for. </li></ul><ul><li>Please take the time to register your organisation FREE by visiting www.londontenders.org </li></ul>
