  3. 3. How does it all add up? £236,000 to invest £50 - £75k from share offer All figures approximate, 1 March 2018 £44,000 invested £193,000 raised <£37,000 other f/r & loans £280,000 total project cost £87,000

  5. 5. This Community Share Offer is to raise £50k -£75,000 so we can open our Shop and Café by Christmas
  6. 6. How do the shares work? • Your investment is for at least 3 years • You shares can only be withdrawn in tightly defined circumstances, and always at the discretion of the Management Committee • These Shares are transferable only on bankruptcy or death. You are investing in the future of our community
  7. 7. What Do You Need To Know? Offer opens today - Closes 6 May, 6pm Minimum £10 - Maximum £12,000 Investors must be 16+ All members have one vote in the Society You may be eligible for 50% tax relief

What Tax Relief Is Available? • HMRC have agreed that eligible shareholders can claim 50% tax rebate on their investment in this SEIS scheme • You make your claim four months after the business starts trading • The amount of tax relief cannot be guaranteed by BCSL. Please take professional advice if you are not sure.
