Curriculum vitae My Professional and job experience Dates Company Position Job Description As from January 2016 Mazars Mauritius Director, Consulting Unit As Head of the Corporate Finance Division, I carry out due diligence and situational analysis of companies, review their financial structure to assess their needs, assist them in building an adapted financial model in line with the corporate strategic orientation. If need be, I accompany them when negotiating with banks for debt restructuring. My portfolio of activities also include SME mentoring and capacity building with objective to assist them to grow and become financially more resilient. We also assist our Insolvency Practitioner in assignments as Administrator/receiver-manager under the Insolvency Act 2009. From Jan 2011till Dec 2015 Restructuring Working Group (RWG) which was created to financially support viable enterprises under the Stimulus Package budgetary measures 2008-09. We worked under the State Investment Corporation as investment arm of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Mauritius. Convener I led a team of 8 qualified personnel mainly economists, graduates in banking and accountancy. Our focus was to financially assisting companies with growth potential within the service and manufacturing sectors more importantly SMEs having difficulty to get further credit facilities from financial institutions. Our appraisal involved review of the credit standing of the applicant, analyse their efficiency taking into account their business environment so as to understand causes of their failure/ financial distress and recommend appropriate remedial measures. In order to have an independent view, we called upon Independent Financial Analysts (IFA) for their independent recommendations. Our findings along with the IFA report were then discussed at a stakeholders’ meeting comprising of Committee Members of RWG, lending institutions and the applicant. Once validated, a term sheet was signed by all parties before implementation. The RWG Committee was a joint public and private sector initiative set up with main objective to avoid collapse and job losses for growing cash poor companies having difficulty to have access to finance. All financial instruments were devised in consultation with industry associations namely the Joint Economic Council, the Mauritius Bankers Association, Association of Leasing Companies, Mauritius Export Association and Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry and included debenture and/or preference share issue, import loan guarantees, micro financing, export credit insurance, credit financing under factoring and finance leases complemented with those provided by banks, leasing companies and other institutions. From Oct 2008 to Dec 2010 Enterprise Mauritius ( EM) - The National Trade and Export Promotion Agency for Mauritius Chief Operating Officer Responsible to implement projects and programs funded by Government and/or International organisations for development of manufacturing and services sector, devise and implement schemes to improve productivity of export oriented industries and their export readiness, accompany them to EM led international trade fairs. I also participated in bilateral/multilateral trade negotiation along with other Government, Customs and private sector organisations. Page 2

Curriculum vitae From July 07 to Sept 08 Mauritius Post & Cooperative Bank Ltd (MPCB) Head Strategic Marketing My main duties included organising marketing campaign, analyse market risk, carry out market research, product development and branding exercise to ensure competitiveness of MPCB as well as enhancing its corporate image. From February 04 to July 07 As above Head of Retail Banking My main duties involved staff recruitment and training, development of MPCB retail business, expansion of branch network, dealing with institutional customers especially government bodies in line with corporate strategies for a first class banking services. The private banking and wealth management unit of the Bank was also under my responsibility. From April 03 to Jan 2004 GFE Consulting Worldwide GMBH CEO and Lead Consultant GFE is a consultancy firm whose main objective was to prove coaching and training to SMES. As CEO, my duties among others involved: • Tendering for various national and international projects for account of GFE Mauritius Ltd. • As registered Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA) trainer in management, I dispensed courses in Marketing and Management at National Co-operative Training Centre and National Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Council for young entrepreneurs and business start ups • Preparing feasibility studies and business plans for SME’s under SME Challenge UNDP funded programme From Oct 2001to April 03 New Co-operative Bank Ltd Managing Director Played leading role in setting up of New Co-operative Bank ltd and successfully launching its banking operations. I was closely involved in devising micro finance schemes for the cooperative sector. From Dec 1986 to Oct 2001 Banque Nationale De Paris (BNP Group of Paris) Management Cadre I joined as Head of the Documentary Credit Unit and owing to my dedication and professional experience, I obtained three promotions. My key achievements and duties are highlighted below. o February 2001: Senior Manager and Head of SME Unit o April 1995: I was promoted Branch Manager of BNPI, then transferred to Quatre Bornes Branch after spending four years as Team Leader of Flacq BNPI Branch. o Dec 86 - April 1987: I worked in close collaboration with a specialist from BNP Paris Office for creation of the local BNPI Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange Dealing Room From May 1970 to Nov.1986 Bank of Mauritius Joined as clerk. Was Chief Clerk as from July 86 I joined the Exchange Control to monitor import and export foreign exchange dealings. In 1972, I became member of the Industrial Committee set by Government at the Ministry of Industry to overview performance and guide the EPZ sector. I was also Committee Member for monitoring of foreign investment.
