Rick Starks <ul><li>Joined American Consolidated Media in November 1999 as Executive Vice President and was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer in August 2007. </li></ul><ul><li>As Executive Vice President/COO supervised management and staff for all newspaper operations at American Consolidated Media as well as for the information technology and web development functions at the Company. </li></ul><ul><li>In addition to having all newspaper operations reporting directly to him, Starks was responsible for ongoing ACM activities including sales and marketing initiatives, new product development, capital expenditures and plant upgrades, circulation and distribution networks, implementing synergies across operating clusters and general news content. </li></ul>
