Ford was very hard working and very determined on proving others around him wrong. He continued working on making the first Ford automobile that ran off gas. Ford’s father even doubted him about building the gas powered automobile his father thought he should build it with electricity.
“Quality means doing it right when no one is looking,” said Ford he was a strong believer in this statement in which he followed it very well. Ford thought quality was the number one priority in manufacturing his cars. He felt that if one of his cars broke down on a customer, that he was personally the one to blame. Ford took time and didn’t rush building the automobile he made sure that everything was right.
Ford stated that everything can always be done better than it is being done. For everything he done at least one person had something to say about his ability of what he had done. All Ford could say is eventually things would be better. Fords father always taught him not to waste things, because of the cost of things. His father gave him 40 acres of land for his own cultivation to help support his family, Ford mechanized almost the entire process to cut costs and increase his earnings.
Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress. Working together is success said Ford. Ford also refuted the practice of hiring experts in the belief that they would restrict the potential for growth and innovation. Ford also taught that everyone was on an equal level and each had an important job of individual responsibility.

Ford was willing to put his name on the company and to stand behind it because he had the utmost faith that his car was of the highest possible quality.
In recognizing not to waste thing for almost 50 years, Ford strove to manufacture his cars with a minimum amount of waste of both materials and labor.
If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself said Ford. Working together and teaching each other things was a big impression on Ford.
