A major media distributor like Frontline would be well-suited to distribute the magazine because they have a wide reach in places like supermarkets where the target audience shops. As a large conglomerate, Frontline could provide synergies like related websites, radio stations or TV channels to engage the mainstream audience that is familiar with multi-platform media consumption. Distributing the magazine through Frontline would make it widely accessible to the intended audience in popular retail locations.

Research I previously did research into distributors and found out that Q Magazine, the main magazine that I researched and based my magazine on, was distributed by Seymour, a major magazine distributor. This is how I decided that my magazine should also be distributed by a major distributor like Seymour, or Frontline. As you can find Q Magazine in most places, like supermarkets or other types of shops and I would like this to be where you could find my magazine.
3. Conglomerates As my magazine is aimed at mainstreamers, I would like to have a major distributor such as Frontline. Also as it is a huge company they would own many other companies ( synergy ) and they would have the advantage of a multi-platform consumption, for example my magazine would have a website, radio station or even a television channel, all of this is Media 2.0 which is something my audience would be very familiar with and would be able to use. This way I would be able to get a wider audience for my magazine.
4. Examples of where I would like my magazine to be distributed I would also like Frontline to distribute my magazine as they would place the magazine in popular places for example supermarkets, this way my audience would be larger and would easily be able to find my magazine. The advantage of this is that my magazine would be seen and bought more by my niche audience, on the other hand I wouldn’t be able to do anything too overly different on my magazine as my audience would want to buy it, and my distributor would not want to distribute it.
