  1. 1. kaka The Kaka is a native bird from New Zealand, It is a parrot . It is mostly found by the north and south area in the forest.
  2. 2. Feathers and colour <ul><li>The feathers are brown and red but their head's are a silver grey colour and under the wings are orange and red. </li></ul>
  3. 3. habitat <ul><li>They live in the north and south forest and they are mostly found by the north and south forests in the world </li></ul><ul><li>They like to live in the north and south forest. </li></ul><ul><li>If you find them in the north forest they are called the north forest kaka if you find them in the south forest they are called the south forest kaka. </li></ul>
  4. 4. predators <ul><li>Kaka predators are falcons and hawks also rats and stoats will eat young Kaka or their eggs. The stoats will kill the female Kaka when they are nesting. </li></ul>
  5. 5. food <ul><li>Kaka birds like to eat seeds, nectar, insects,wood grubs and scale insects. </li></ul>
