  3. 3. <ul><li>This is a jazz cover of a song A from B's first album, named after B's father. </li></ul><ul><li>The jazz cover is by a trio whose name comes from that of the lead pianist C. They were nominated for a Best Instrumental Jazz album Grammy for the album. </li></ul><ul><li>C shares his surname with a singer whose biggest hit was a Hindi song, the title D of which means 'face to face with', in Urdu. </li></ul><ul><li>The name of the song A means 'go on' in Jamaican, and is also the name of an island in an archipelago in Indonesia, which is probably coincidental. </li></ul><ul><li>B's second album E, named after B's mother, made bigger waves. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>The song F from the album E first gained popularity by appearing in a trailer for the comedy G produced by K (the song does not appear in the film) </li></ul><ul><li>G is a non-technical term for a meteorological phenomenon characterized by a strong and persistent flow of atmospheric moisture and associated heavy rainfall along the Pacific coast of North America. </li></ul><ul><li>The comedy G starred actors H and I. H and I had previously appeared together in a TV series set in a High School, named J. </li></ul><ul><li>Nearly all the cast of the tv series all make periodic appearances in K’s movies, including G. </li></ul><ul><li>I is most known for a playing a supporting character in a super-hero movie trilogy L. </li></ul><ul><li>H (who co-wrote the movie G) is playing a crime-fighter in a movie M, based on an old radio show of the same name. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>Song F attained popularity by appearing in the soundtrack of movie N. Another original co-composition by B (not from album E) was also very popular and was nominated for the Oscar for best song, but failed to win. </li></ul><ul><li>The song F samples the main tune from an English punk rock band O. The most iconic album by O was P, released in 1979, which ranked in the top 20 in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time poll in 2003. </li></ul><ul><li>The cover design of this album was a homage to the pink and green fonts of Q’s debut studio album, released in 1956. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Movie N was based on a book R (yes, the name was different from that of the book) which was shortlisted for the Best First Book by the Commonwealth Writer’s Prize and won the South African equivalent of the Booker prize (S) . </li></ul><ul><li>In the credits of N, the director T thanked another director U, who in turn thanked him back in the credits of his next movie V , which was the eighth adaptation of a novel  by the writer W. </li></ul><ul><li>Another novel X by W has also been adapted to film 5 times, the most recent one being in 2005, but the most famous version was made in 1953 by Y. </li></ul><ul><li>I plays the lead role in T’s next venture Z. </li></ul><ul><li>A question on Z has already been asked in this quiz. </li></ul>
