SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP FOR CSR PRACTITIONERS SET ON
JANUARY 7
Practitioners of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) anticipates
integrating social media to their strategies
The CSR Academy of the Benita & Catalino Yap Foundation presents the Social Media
Workshop for CSR Practitioners, to be held at January 7, 2013, 7 AM to 5 PM at the De La
Salle University. At the end of the workshop, participants are expected to develop social media
strategies that they can implement in pursuit of social good through CSR projects.
The morning session will feature local speakers who will talk about Social Media in the
Philippine Setting. For the afternoon session, renowned international social media experts, Dr.
Robin Yap and Mr. Edward Perry, will be conducting a hands-on workshop that will allow
attendees to immerse themselves in creating and executing Social Media strategies.
With the rise of social media in the Philippines, this Workshop addresses the need of
CSR Practitioners to harness new web technologies and implement them in the pursuit of
socially innovative objectives.
