Evaluation Protocol <ul><li>Reflective conversation will take place at the Post Conference. </li></ul>POST-CONFERENCE <ul><li>The teacher will provide a lesson plan that includes four QSAC required elements: </li></ul><ul><li>1. Objective </li></ul><ul><li>2. Core Curriculum State Standards </li></ul><ul><li>3. Activities </li></ul><ul><li>4. Assessments </li></ul>LESSON PLANS <ul><li>Before each scheduled observation, the Observer will schedule a pre-conference with the teacher. This is required before all observations. </li></ul><ul><li>The Pre-conference will be a face-to-face interaction. </li></ul><ul><li>The duration of these meetings may vary. </li></ul><ul><li>The teacher will provide a lesson plan. </li></ul><ul><li>The pre-conference date will be recorded on the observation form. </li></ul>PRE-CONFERENCE

  4. 4. New Language <ul><li>Comment - A statement of fact or opinion that expresses the supervisor’s personal reaction or attitude toward an observed action by a Professional staff member. There is no follow-up action required by the Professional staff member. </li></ul><ul><li>Suggestion – Written and/or verbal communication in which an idea is presented by the Supervisor to the Professional staff member for consideration. A suggestion is an invitation to further dialogue. </li></ul><ul><li>Recommendation - An identified concern or deficiency in the Professional staff member’s performance coupled with a suggested specific course of action the staff member should take to address the concern or deficiency. </li></ul>
