This fight is basically a dps race with a few twists. The first thing we need to worry about is positioning.
So dogie, missionary....what kind of positioning would you like?
We need the tanks to be positioned at the bottom of the steps in front of saurfang with the melee behind. Then we need the range spread out in a semi circle 12 yds apart. Here is a map!
When the fight begins we usually pop hero if possible and everyone dps's saurfang. During this time tanks need to taunt off every time the current tank gets rune of blood and continue to do so for the duration of the fight.
Soon saurfang will summon 2 blood beasts from each side of him. At this point melee should use no spells that damage multiple targets.
I can still use killing spree and blade flurry though right?
Um...no! Ok once the beast come out range needs to slow them down and dps them without getting hit. Once they are dead move back to the boss.
They can't hit that hard why not just heal through them hitting the range?
Because every time the beasts hit someone Saurfang gains blood power and once he reaches 100 blood power he casts Mark of the Fallen Champion
Causes Deathbringer Saurfang's melee attacks to splash to this target, inflicting 5,700 to 6,300 additional Physical damage. If the target dies while under this effect Saurfang is healed for 5% of his total health. Cannot be dispelled or removed by any means, including death. (Note do not rez the person with this as they will die again unless absolutly needed)
Dediate as much healing as possible to the person with the mark and continue the downing beasts and dpsing Saurfang and win!
