5. WORLD STREET WORKOUT & CALISTHENICS FEDERATION (WSWCF)
WSWCF is international non-governmental non-for profit organization operating worldwide
pursuant to international law. It was founded on April 08, 2011 and recorded in the Registry
of Associations and Foundations of the Republic of Latvia on May 17th
, 2011 with
registration No.40009178458. WSWCF's main office is located in Riga, Latvia.
WSWCF unites national street workout organizations and supporters on a global level, and
directs and coordinates the street workout matters and activities worldwide. WSWCF is the
official organizer of the Street Workout World Championship and the Street Workout World
Cup. The federation has organized 3 World Championships since 2013.
6. The objectives of the WSWCF as stated under its Articles of Association are:
● worldwide development of street workout sport as a social movement and as a professional sport;
● ensuring that street workout is officially recognized worldwide as a type of sport;
● worldwide attraction of new members to the street workout;
● creation of new street workout training places worldwide.
● worldwide promotion of street workout sport, including distribution of information about street workout on
international level, organization of international educational and qualification-raising events, cooperation
with national and international governmental and non-governmental entities and organizations;
● aligning and coordinating the activity of national and regional street workout unions and organizations;
● organization of international street workout contests, including regional and world street workout
championships, development and approval of rules of such contests;
● development and implementation of internationally recognized procedures for obtaining and maintaining of
qualification of street workout instructors, including procedures for training and certification of instructors;
● by means of its activity to facilitate the improvement of the society members' overall health condition and
quality of life, to facilitate the social integration among different society layers and hence to contribute to
development of a better civic society in national and international level.
WSFCW works on other activities which will facilitate the development of street workout. WSFCW aims to include street
workout as a discipline in Summer X games, gain worldwide recognition and to cooperate with other international sports
organizations, such as TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All, www.tafisa.net).
7. The WSWCF-US is represented in the United States by Eduard Checo founder of the BarStarzz organization.
Eduard Checo is a native of the neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. It is here in this
neighborhood that BarStarzz was founded in 2009. Through the use of the internet, social media, and services
such as Youtube, the organization grew from a neighborhood team to an internationally recognized workout
team with members from all around the world. BarStarzz members train their bodies through
creative calisthenics, which only requires basic equipment such as pull up and dip bars.
BarStarzz believes that calisthenics is a fun and simple way to stay in shape for all
people regardless of age, gender, economic background, ethnicity, race, or any of the
many other factors that at times create divisions between human beings. Most
importantly BarStarzz inspires people to live healthy lives, and it gives endless
opportunities to expand and be creative to keep pushing the body to its limits.

8. The New York Street Workout World Cup will be held on Saturday August 23rd 2014 in east river park
by the fdr drive in lower Manhattan New York City. The competition will consist of the top 30 athletes
able to attend the international event. Last year athletes flew in from Norway, Russia, France, Florida,
and California. Each athletes has 2 minute rounds to show the judges their performance. They are
judged on dynamic, static, and combination movements. Each judge gives them a score of 1-10 then
they will be added at the end. The 3 athletes with the highest scores will be flown all expenses paid to
Norway to compete at the super final in collaboration with the Norway Street Workout Organization.
They will be competing on top of portable bars set on a stage. The expected audience will be 300 people
at the minimum.
9. BarStarzz has a very large social media presence. It reaches an audience of More than 377,000 subscribers
on Youtube with over 82 million views (http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialBarstarzz) and 250,540 likes on
the facebook page reaching over 615,000 users weekly (https://www.facebook.com/Barstarzz). (see
Appendix 1).
BarStarzz instagram has 80,000 followers along with almost 14,900 followers on Twitter. (see Appendix 2).
