DRY RISER SYSTEMS DRY RISING TYPICAL MAIN ARRANGEMENT Air Release Valve Landing Valve Top Floor KILLFIRE Dr y Riser Landing Valve Systems provide fire protection for high rise buildings, where main pressure are not sufficient in normal fire fighting application. Systems are installed in staircase or other 1st Floor suitable location, with each riser valve on each floor and inlet breeching of either 2-way or 4-way at ground level to enable fire brigade to connect into the systems. Such breeching inlet are generally housed in cabinets for protection.   2. 2. DRY RISER VALVES AIR VALVE KILLFIRE AIR VALVE can be fitted at the top of a riser to release air when the riser is charged with water or admit air when draining off. Inlet Connection: Dia 1” BSP male screw. MODEL: KDR-V DRY RISER VALVE KILLFIRE DRY RISER VALVE act as outlets from the rising main and are fitted in easily accessible positions on each floor of a building above the first, and sometimes in deep basement areas. MODEL: KDR-097S Inlet with Dia 21/2” BSP male tapered screws, and with Ø21/2 instantaneous female, outlet to BS 336, blank cap and chain. PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE KILLFIRE PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE are specially designed for use in high rise building and it’s as a butterfly valve incorporated that can be set on site for any required outlet pressure.
