  • In the past 23 years I had met a number of people. They fall into 2 buckets. Some set of people hate me while other like me. The ones who like me become my friends. Simple pholosophy right.. The same if someone asks for how one finds his soul mate, it’s a complicated philosophy. We had a variety of friends, no doubt about that. Some of them are artists, some are pretty, movie buff, simple guys.A research says a person can at the max hold 150 friends. I meant to say that you can only know 150 people personally. However on a country called facebook we can have hundreds of friends and even flaunt the number of friends. I am not going to talk about whatsapp country, I leave it to you.Another research says a person can have only 5 best friends with know he can share any personal stuff. If you are an introvert then the number can be 1 or 2 friends.
  • Earlier we described our friends on their personality and habits. For example singer, artist, pretty. Now we shall categorize our friends on the behavioral grounds. i.e. on the basis of how they behave with us.
  • Wing man. This is a friend who serves different purposes depending on the stages of life. For long males used their wingman to distract a women so that they can make a move on her. On the other hand there are situations when the woman falls for the wingman instead of falling for the main character.Wingman gives you confidence when interacting with opposite sex. Two is better than one in social settings. Wing man can add fuel to the conversation.Imagine your life lost the spice after a breakup, its again the same wingman who is going to change your thoughtsIn groups wingman can let others know about your positive traits. On social events or gatherings, its difficult to be alone and break
  • Handyman is a narrow term used to describe a friend who just seems to know everything about everything. He can help you buy clothes, home decoration, buying electronic goods, negotiating an used car price. He does not talk about philosophy and talk about practical stuff. We can call this a quick fix guy. You are held up with a cop and you can rely on the handyman for escape route.
  • He needs no explanation. He is the one who can run a marathon with ease. This guy may not be your favorite. This guy has a habit of inviting you for the marathon instead of going alone. He will offer free fitness training for you.You may not like this guy but you will remember this guy when you are helpless when you check your weight on the scale.
  • We spend more than 45 hours a week at office. Now don’t open calculator app.. Its 9 hours * 5 days a week.. We want someone with whom we can pass gossip, eat lunch.. You need not make friends at office if you enjoy eating alone everyday. You need this workpal just throughtout the week, not on your weekends. I bet this friend is not going to be with you for the rest of your life.Being a buddy buddy with boss is not really cool. I had experienced it.
  • There comes a day when all the doors are shut in life. You need advice from someone wise, elderly person. Here comes the mentor friend.Your mentor should not just pour advice but also give constructive critisism. Mentor may not be the best fellow on the list, but he is the one who is absolutely necessary. He will be the guiding hand in the crazy confusing world we live in.
  • Mentor : Father or someone who knows you wellWork pal : Someone who is the boss sphere of influenceFitness freak : who goes to gym or has a good physiqueHandyman : One who takes loan to buy an iphone/mac book is a perfect handymanWingman: One who is ready to do some favours to you without expecting returns.
