  2. 2. Location <ul><li>Venus’s location is the 2 nd planet from the Sun. </li></ul><ul><li>It is 67,000,000 miles from the Sun. </li></ul><ul><li>The distance from us and Venus is 26,000,000-160,000,000 miles. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Composition <ul><li>Venus has a very cloudy atmosphere. </li></ul><ul><li>It is made of rock. and 96% CO 2. </li></ul><ul><li>It has volcanoes that are active pancake domes and craters. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Unique Facts <ul><li>Did you know that Venus is Roman for Aphrodite the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty? </li></ul><ul><li>Scientists discovered that the Mayan were afraid of Venus because they thought it brought bad news. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Previous Missions <ul><li>Only probes have been to Venus. </li></ul><ul><li>The closest they have been to Venus was 16 miles from the surface. </li></ul><ul><li>The probes that have visited Venus are Mariner 2, Venera 4, Venera 7, Venera 13,and Venera 14. </li></ul>

The rockets help It move. </li></ul><ul><li>Then we have this sattelight. The sattelight lets VVV send and recive information. The puropice of VVV is to further explore Venus .Also there are 2 camras </li></ul>
