Introduction- To fulfill the day to day need of mankind we need to innovate new techniques. Mobile based appliances controlled system is evolved to control any kind of electrical appliances from a significant distance. Mobile communication technique , DTMF technology and Micro-controller are used to configure this project. 3
  4. 4. Aim of the project-  Controlling electrical appliances by using mobile by providing signals through DTMF circuit. 4

  6. 6. Working & circuit designing- (INTERFACE OF RELAY WITH MICROCONTROLLER) 6
  7. 7. Power supply unit-  Provides desire DC supply.  Transformer is used to get 12V AC.  Rectifier is used to convert AC to DC.  Regulator eliminates ripple by setting out put to a fixed voltage. 7
  8. 8. SMOOTHING-  Smoothing is performed by large electrolyte capacitor Connected across DC supply  Unsmooth DC is denoted by dotted line and smooth DC by solid line  Here a capacitor of 1000uF,400uF,100uF is used as smoothing ckt. 8
  9. 9. VOLTAGE RECTIFIER-  A rectifier is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC), which periodically reverses direction, to direct current (DC), current that flows in only one direction, a process known as rectification. 9

  11. 11. Future scope-  This project can be further enhanced to the High voltage A.C Applications by changing the ratings of the Relay.  By this we can control and monitor the high speed induction motors as well as synchronous motors. This can be done in an economical way. 11
