Introduction<br />Red Cross (www.redcross.org) is a volunteer-led, humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief and education inside the United States.<br />Founded in 1881.<br />Established in Washington D.C by Clara Barton.<br />There are more than 700 locations (chapters) and 36 blood service regions. <br />The American Red Cross supplies roughly 44% of the donated blood in the United Sates.<br />They have responded to major crises such as Hurricane Katrina, 2007 Florida Tornadoes, June 2008 Midwest Floods, and 2010 Haiti Earthquake.<br />
3. 3. Objective<br />Figure out if age influence blood donor frequency.<br />Summarize the relationship between age & blood donation frequency.<br />How many times a year would you expect a person whose age between 25-38 to donate blood.<br />

Correlation Coefficient & Regression Analysis <br />Age is independent.<br />Frequency of Donating Blood is dependent.<br />By using regression analysis, increase in age has a slight increase to influence blood donation frequency.<br />Correlation = 0.049<br />Slope = 0.054<br />Intercept = 1.799<br />
10. 10. Conclusion<br />If a person is between the ages of 25-38, how many times a year would you expect them to donate blood?<br />When I have calculated the intercept, the result shows that people ages between 25 to 38 tend to donate blood between 1 to 2 times a year.<br />
11. 11. Recommendation <br />Continue to do what they are doing.<br />Spread more awareness through their website.<br />Increase blood drive participation and location.<br />
