  2. 2. Location and climate <ul><li>Spain is in the South-West of Europe and the North of Africa. Madrid is the capital. </li></ul><ul><li>Climate : </li></ul><ul><li>The climate is varied. In the south, it is Mediterranean. </li></ul><ul><li>Atlantic climate in the North and continental inside the country. </li></ul><ul><li>In Canary Islands we can find subtropical climate. </li></ul>

TOURIST DESTINATION: MÁLAGA <ul><li>Málaga is in the south of Spain (Andalucía). </li></ul><ul><li>It is a business city and has sun and beach tourism. </li></ul><ul><li>We can visit: </li></ul><ul><li>Cathedral, Alcazaba, Roman Theatre, Picasso’s Birthplace, Gibralfaro Castle, Churches, Merced Square, La Farola, El Cenachero. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>A lot of museums - Picasso Museum, Thyssen Museum... </li></ul><ul><li>Beaches (La Malagueta, Pedregalejo, La Misericordia…). The coast is very visited by tourists because we have an amazing good weather throughout the year. </li></ul><ul><li>We can practice golf, tennis, paddle.. </li></ul>

  7. 8. RELIGION <ul><li>Holy week. It is an Andalusian baroque festival where we can see the representation of Jesus Christ’s life. This festival has a lot of followers around the world. </li></ul><ul><li>Virgen del Carmen. </li></ul>
  8. 10. GASTRONOMY <ul><li>‘ Pescaito frito’ is a typical dish: Grilled sardines, anchovies, squids.. </li></ul><ul><li>‘ Tapas are typical as well. It is the selection of varied food from Málaga, like Jamón Serrano, cheese, omelette .. </li></ul>
  9. 11. SHOPPING <ul><li>We can go shopping in Larios Street (principal street of the city) where there are a lot of shops. </li></ul><ul><li>Puerto Banus. </li></ul>
